Help us stop fraud, waste and abuse

Millions of taxpayer dollars are wasted every day when health plans are billed for the wrong services or for services that were not provided. This can be an accident or done on purpose. It is called fraud, waste and abuse.

Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) is taking steps to identify fraud, waste and abuse. GCHP would like your help to prevent this from happening. After GCHP has paid your provider, you may get a letter called an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The letter lists the services a provider says you received and the dates you received them. The letter also shows what services were paid for by GCHP. If the services listed do not match the services you or your family member received, GCHP wants to hear from you.

If you suspect any fraud, waste or abuse, you do not have to receive a letter for you to contact GCHP. Please give us as much information as you can. Tell us your name, address and phone number. Please provide dates and tell us what happened. Send your report to:

Gold Coast Health Plan

Attn: Compliance Officer – Fraud Investigation

711 E. Daily Drive, Suite 106

Camarillo, CA 93010

You can also make a report by:

  • Calling the toll-free hotline at 1-866-672-2615. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Using GCHP's Fraud, Waste or Abuse website at gchp.alertline.com.

We all need to work together to stop fraud, waste and abuse!
